Story.
The legend of the seekers is a story that has been told over the last 3 generations.
Some believers will tell you that the seekers are robotic aliens from a far off planet named Cybertron and they have the ability to transform into government owned F-16 fighter jets to disguise their identity and live among us, gathering and relaying information for a presumed hostile invasion.
And others will tell you that the seekers are a creation of DistantStarr “StarrSkream” to be use as a moniker for his self-produced musical projects on his Dizzy Arcadian Music Imprint.
But which ever story you choose to believe. There is still more than meets the eye.
Nex Millen/Distant Starr Seekers Remixes assembles the two tales into one giant of a 4 song EP.
DistantStarr’s razor sharp wit matched word for word by Nex Millen‘s unpredictably smooth production. Plus a cameo by buzzing Philly indie rap artist Buddy Leezle is added just to over do things. Did I forget to mention the visual opus for the song “The Stand Up” directed by SMD and the title track video for “Seekers” directed by DistantStarr and Arron D. Stallworth?
Whether robots in disguise or timeless Hip Hop music. All can hope that the legend of The Seekers is a story that will be talked about and listen to for generations to come.

A year ago almost to the day I released a single that I produced called Devastating by a artist named Rus Jaymes. After being well received on music blogs and media outlets. There was talk about a full length album, But Rus Jaymes disappeared from the public eye till now. With a new album fully recorded and produced by me affectionately called “RumbleFish” (Available 5/22/12) Rus Jaymes is back to finish the journey we started so long ago.
The first single off the album is a soundclash style remix of last years debut. Featuring Lawrence Arnell and Philly Indie Rap legend

Nex Millen Remixes shows off NX’s range for producing timeless music of any genre. All songs are produced using Nex Millen’s SGB (Serato Garage Band) free hand method. Triggering samples and drums with Serato. And playing keys, bass and percussion through Garage Band straight into a D.A.W. with just a metronome, no sequencer to automatically snap the notes into place. This allows NX to operates more like a jazz player, freely improvising as he goes, giving the music his own swing and a fresh perspective on every take laid. “Rehearse it till you know it. Then lay it. There is no rush on timeless music”. NX explains.

Happy New Year. This year will be the best music year in a long time for me. I very excited. I have a lot of unreleased material floating around the studio and I have time to sort through it all and release the best of the best. Or as I would say timeless. First out the gate is one of the best Hip Hop Artist I ever had the chance to work with. Rus Jaymes.
Rus Jaymes is not new to the culture at all. Born and raised in Camden City, Rus Jaymes started controlling the mic in the early nineties with partner Dave Ghetto as the group illPod then moved on to become a solo artist under the name Blackmagic. Only to partnered with Rhyme Slayer Seven Shot, forming the group Danger Island in the late nineties.
Rus Jaymes and I knew each other for a long time and I always thought if we were to do a project together it would be dope. In mid 2000 the J-lab would provided the right atmosphere to accomplish this beautiful collaboration called“Rumble Fish”. Locked away in the vault until now, Rumble Fish was ahead of it time some would say. I would say that it’ was definitely the start of my Timeless Music Making Era.
DEVASTATING was the first cut we recorded then and the first cut to be released now. Rus give the track his full and undivided attention. Spitting “I beat the shit out of this production” You can hear the hunger in his voice. The passion in his word play and the distinct feeling of “killing it” only a master of the rhyme can give you.
